Ok – I’m just gonna say it – I love Dinan! The brand rocks. First of all – it was unheard of that they came out with a modification package that kept the full warranty in place for not only the e39 m5, but all cars they mod. Second (and this has been said before) it’s incredible how they made an already GREAT car even better.

Steve Dinan has been the go-to guy for BMW modifications for more than 30 years (hard to beleive) and has pioneered many of the modification for the the brand. In fact Steve was doing “chip” tuning long before anyone else. Today it is known as a ‘software upgrade’.
Some of the more popular mods include the Engine software, the High Flow Cold Air Intake System and the Free Flow Mufflers.

Dinan assigns points to each of their modifications, working up towards a badge you can display on the rear trunk lid. All in, the “S3″ package (there is also an S1 and S2 package) delivers an insane 621 hp at 7,000 rpm and a mind numbing 502 foot pounds of torque at 4,500 rpm.
