The E39 M5 Video Guide Blog

Well – here’s a picture from someone on Flickr of a nice interior shot. It looks like a marketing or “promo” shot for an E39 M5.  I’m not sure if this was a photo taken for BMW, or one that a professional photographer took of someone’s car.

What’s clear to me about this picture however, is that the focus is clearly on the INTERIOR of the car because everything else is a cool blue.  What else I notice here is that this is taken of a 2000 M5.  Wonder how to tell?

The Navi screen and steering wheel.  Those are from the 2000 model.  The navi screen is the 4:3 ratio which was changed in 2001 to the 16:9 ratio.  Also – the steering wheel is the 2000 model steering wheel changed in 2001.
