E39 M5 Standard 180km Per Hour Limiter

This is a vid that shows an E39 M5 with a bit over 250 kilometer per hour as recorded by a GPS tracking by sattelite. That is when the limiter is switched off.

The limiter keeps the beast from speeding more than 180 kilometers per hour and this vid shows how fast it can really go.
In fact, a comment from a member of m5boarddotcom states that he measured it to 292 kilometers per hour on GPS.

“The good old E39 M5 is so brutal and pure”, wrote one viewer. There is no doubt that the car is deserves all the excellent E39 M5 reviews it gets.
