E39 M5 Drag Races with a Holden CommodoreSS VE

Drag racing on a quarter mile drag track is certainly a thrill. Here’s a drag racing vid between an 1999 E39 M5 model and a Holden Commodore SS VE.

I think we all know that there are three factors that affect the result of the race: reaction time, power and traction. From the standing start, the E39 M5 did an excellent performance here, beating the other car hands down.

For a ten year old vehicle, this is an amazing result although some viewers commented that the Holden commodore SS VE is certainly no match to the Beast. What do you think? ;)
