E39 M5 Clutch Replacement
Lots has been said about the strengths and weaknesses about the clutch in the E39 M5. The reality is that much to do with its longevity comes from how hard you drive the car.
In many cases the fastest way to kill the clutch in the E39 m5 is to repeatedly do hard standing starts. The clutch in the E39 M5 HATES hard, “burn out” style starts.
