Cash Prize Giveaway Contest
The cash prize contest is now closed and the winner is Beautiful Beast.
One of the best things I’ve seen from people I’ve met through this website is the incredible passion people have shared with me about the M5 through their stories and photos that regularly wind up in my inbox.
And I really thought it’s a shame that more people don’t get to read those stories and see those photos.
So I’ve decided to try something that’s never been done before with a contest so people can share their stories and photos through this website AND have a chance to win some money at the same time.
The contest is really simple. All you have to do is write a minimum of 100 words about why you think the E 39 M5 is a special car. You don’t have to be a customer of the M5 video guide and you don’t even have to own an E 39 M5… you just have to love this car.
If you don’t want to use your real name you can submit anonymously, your email will not be published, but I’ll need it to send you the prize if you win. You do need to create a unique title for your entry. I’ve put a word counter on the entry form so you can see if you’ve written at least one hundred words. And if you want to include your favorite E 39 m5 photo to increase your chances of winning, you can do that with the optional photo up-loader. Just make sure that you click the upload image button after you’ve selected a photo from your hard drive. Once that’s done, click the “submit contest entry” button and you’re finished.
Your entry will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours along with its photo on the contest category page which you can access from the Contest link on the navigation bar. The contest closes on the 15th of February 2011 at 12 noon Pacific time. I will be sending the winner with the most votes $100 U.S. dollars by PayPal. The top 3 entries will be shown in real time on the sidebar of this website. You can only cast one vote, which will be tracked by IP address and cookie and of course the sooner you make an entry, the longer you have to get votes.
The contest is closed. Check back again in the future for more contests.

Begin 2010 i got interested in the E39 M5. since I was 18 (2001)years old in my town there was 1 guy who drived an (blue water metallic), this is my fevourite colour. (just for the information i only admire people who have this car for a long time. That means that they are serious. there are owners that have fast money who just trash the gaspadel all the time. those that dont warm up the engine propperley.
Anyways, i was a fan of the guy that drove that pretty E39 M5. Every time he drove that car past me I stopt everything i did to admire the car.
I was a pizza delivery guy and drove all around town with my 50 cc deliverey bike. So to find out were he lives i would persue him to were he lives. Not speak with him but just so i could drive by when i worked, take a peak to see if his car was on the driveway.
Long time has past sinds I had a job delevering pizzas. It was june 2010 when i got to know the owner of that M5, the ride was clean the only but was that it pased 200.000 km. But it never had problems. At that time i didnt knew that in december 2010 I will get the chance to buy one.
Since januari 2010 i wanted one bad so i did some research but found out that if you choose the wrong one its gonna cost you an arm and a leg. so i orderd the m5 video guide to help me look. and in december 2010 i got an oppertunitty to buy one.
At that time I had a GSXR1000 and i could buy a M5 E39 and keep my motor. But after a long surch i wasnt confident in the E39 M5 market. The cars are almost 10 years old, over 200.000 km. And when the km are low its not convencing lets be realistic the car is 10 years old.
After a while in november the owner of the M5 said that he was selling the car. I admired it but he was asking to much, he knew that i liked the car, so i didnt close the deal. Than my eye catched an E60 M5………but that was WAAAAY above the price of E39 M5.
So it was an E39 M5 and keep my bike and my own money OR sell the motor AND spend all my cash to get an E60 M5…………..so i said f*kc it! i may never have the chance to buy such a car as an E60 M5. The coast to buy A bike are lesser than buying an M5. so..altough i love the E39 M5 and that is my dreamcar, i bought the E60 M5. The E39 M5 is the car that stole my heart (today still i love that car).
A powerfull V8 (with super sound OMG!), the original wheels, and the low profile styling (only people that understand cars know that you are driving magic). The thing that i admire most is that BMW set the trend for powerfull sedans! and when it came out…….BOY IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE! just like when in 1996 the motor world met GSXR-750 SRAD. the most powerfull and stylish motorbike at that time in that segment. But this is a whole other storey.
I always take a look on the internet and see whats out there. And practice everything i learnd about the E39 M5 on the M5 video guide. It really is the car for people who would like to own a fast car but dont have milions on their bank.
Dont get me wrong i like ferraris and lambourghinis just like the other guy.But i learned something: look only at cars that you can buy.
So to bad for the E39 M5 but maybe when i finish my school get these milions on my bank i will buy one.
So now iam happy with my E60 M5…..i wish you had an E60 guide when i bought mine.
